Publication of Papers:

  • Authors of selected and presented Contributory papers (free from plagiarism) will have the options for publications of their paper in one or both of the following:
    1. IEEE Xplore: 2-page Full manuscript, requiring submission of copyright agreement by authors to IEEE,
    2. JOURNAL OF THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS: SERIES B: An extended version of the full manuscript with minimum 80-85% change in content, Title change, Abstract change, etc. Also, authors should write in the Acknowledgment part that "This paper is a revised and expanded version of an article entitled, ‘.............’ presented in ‘.....’ held at ..... during ......". Appropriate copyright transfer may be required.
  • ** Please Note:
    1. Authors may opt to either one or both of the above.
    2. If authors are willing to publish in both, then while preparing the manuscript for submission to the journal (Journal of the Institution of Engineers: Series B), authors should note that any exact use of the content (e.g. reuse of the abstract, figures or any substantial text as submitted to IEEE Xplore) will require a permission grant from IEEE, and also may require a fee.
    3. It is only authors’ responsibility to ensure no violation of agreements, publication requirements, etc. as required by IEEE Xplore and the Journal of the Institution of Engineers. Organizers won’t be responsible for any such violation.

    Author’s guideline:

  • Please prepare a maximum 2-page complete manuscript following the "Template" given in the website. The manuscript should clearly describe motivation and approach of your research as well as specific results and their significance, including figures. Abstract of the paper should not be more than 70 words.
  • Please choose the appropriate track mentioned in the “Call for Paper” section before submission.
  • Note that paper submission deadline is extended till September 14, 2023 (HARD DEADLINE).
  • All submissions will be reviewed by the review committee and authors will be informed about the acceptance of their paper by October 16, 2023. If any minor corrections are suggested, author must incorporate that in the paper before final submission.

Guideline for final submission of ORAL papers

  1. Camera ready and IEEE Xplore compliant papers need to be submitted as the final version of the paper, even if there are no changes to your original submission.
  2. Before proceeding for the submission, carefully read all the guidelines of the Author Information page to ensure that your submission meets the guidelines.
  3. Prepare the camera-ready paper in PDF format as the guideline provided in the template.
  4. It is mandatory to ensure that your PDF file meets IEEE Xplore compliance by following the instructions on the PDF Express page.
  5. During the submission process, IEEE copyright form must be submitted for inclusion of the full manuscript to IEEE Xplore. No paper can be uploaded to IEEE Xplore without a valid copyright transfer form.
  6. Submitted PDF files will not contain any security settings.
  7. Authors of all the accepted papers need to pay the conference registration fee to present their papers in CODEC 2023 as per the registration norms.
  8. The full camera-ready IEEE Xplore compliant manuscript, copyright form and registration receipt are required during final paper submission.

Guideline to the Invited Paper:

  • Abstract of the invited talk will be incorporated in the conference proceedings. Invited author must submit an abstract of the talk about 150 words. Otherwise, only “title” of the talk will be mentioned in the conference proceedings.
  • An invited talk can be uploaded to IEEE Xplore if author’s submit/send a camera-ready IEEE Xplore compliant two pages manuscript in the appropriate track and a copyright form. The paper should also fulfill Plagiarism check. Author should write the word “INVITED” at the top of the paper before submission.
  • All the Invited speakers are requested to register themselves in the conference and pay the conference registration fee as per the CODEC 2023 registration norms.

Guideline for the Poster Paper:

  • B.Tech and M.Tech pursuing students are given an opportunity to participate in CODEC 2023 and present their unique work before the conference audience in the form of posters. This will enable them to interact with the dignitaries and experts in the respective fields.
  • Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who are authorized by the HOD of the institution, can present their Poster at a subsidized rate in CODEC-2023 conference.
  • Author’s of the Accepted Posters should submit 100 words abstracts to be included in the conference proceedings. All the presented posters will be published to CODEC-2023 Proceedings only. Few selected posters will receive a prize. Conference Committee will give certificates to all the poster presenters.
