The International Conference on Computers and Devices for Communication (CODEC) is a flagship event organized by Institute of Radio Physics and Electronic, University of Calcutta initiated in 1998 in honour of pioneering scientist, Professor Biswaranjan Nag, of Calcutta University where he completed over forty years of illustrious research career and retired from active service in November 1997. The subsequent CODECs were held in 2004, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2019 making it an important international event attracting students, researchers, faculty members and professionals from different parts of the world. The topics covered in this conference have been slated in view of the broad-based interest of the Institute in Communication, Computers, Devices, Radio Science and other related emerging areas. The 8 th International Conference on Computers and Devices for Communication (CODEC) will be held on 14th-16th December, 2023 to commemorate the 75 years of the Institute.
